Puebla, Mexico

Puebla is nestled in the middle of Mexico, under the imposing view of the Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl volcanoes. It was named a “heroic” city for being the site where Mexican troops’ defeated the French army in 1862 (Battle of Puebla); and it was also named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987.
